Who is at the Heart of Cybersecurity?

People are at the heart of cyber security...to protect their finances, their jobs, their identities, and sometimes even their physical safety.

People can sometimes believe that a cyber-attack would never happen to them or to their organisation, because they don't believe that they would be a target of cybercrime. This perspective usually overlooks elements that would make them an attractive target.

Typically, individual information tends to be a byproduct of a larger organisational breach. People don't think it can happen to them until it does.
