40% and growing...

"In a survey conducted in late 2018, of 249 IT and IT security respondents in organizations primarily serving North America, 40% say they were already working to enable TLS 1.3 for internal network traffic, and 32% were already enabling it for inbound connections.

Another 34% are planning to enable TLS 1.3 for internal traffic in the following six months, while 41% plan to enable it for inbound connections in that time frame."

With the increase of ransomware attacks and regulators cracking down, organisations are looking for any way possible to remain secure and compliant. Naturally, encryption is seen as good practice BUT the better question is, "Do organisations have the right solutions in place to have TLS visibility?"
